When Exposed

When a student or staff member has been exposed (at least 15min in an enclosed space) to a confirmed case of COVID-19, they must:

• Test 3-5 days after exposure.

• Masking is encouraged for 10 days after exposure.

If the exposed person develops new symptoms, they should:

• Immediately isolate at home.

• Get tested for COVID-19.

When Positive

COVID positive individuals can return at the end of their 5-day isolation period (on day *6) if they have not had a fever for 24 hours (without using fever-reducing medication) and their symptoms have improved (*the day a person tests positive is considered day zero). If able, they should continue to wear a well-fitting and high-quality mask for an additional 5 days (day 6 through day 10). If unable to wear a mask, they can return on day 6 without a mask after two negative tests at least 24hrs apart. Anyone positive for COVID-19 must not enter the building on days 0-5.
